I was going through my photos and trying to organize them on my new computer. The key word is "trying" to organize them. I kept getting side track with memories from past family events, trips and my wanderings around my neighborhood.
Anyway, I found this picture.
This was taken in Rome on beautiful, warm day in May 2007. Mi madre and I were trying to find the Piazza Navona via our feet. I saw this shop and thought this is Rome; the shutters, the vines creeping up the side of the building, the scooters and the planter boxes. To me this looked like the typical Roman shop.
Then I noticed the picture on the easel.
I laughed and became even more endeared with the shop. I had to take a picture. This was even better.
By the way, doesn't Elvis look like he stopped in Spain, on his way to Rome?
