Flashback Friday-Hawaii-I wish You Were Mine-Tommy Tokioka w/ Steve Perry

Even though my body is here in California, my thoughts are back in Kauai.

That is the reason for today's "Flashback Friday" video. It has an island flavor with a hint of the"70's sound of Steve Perry.

This song is what I call a "cruising" song. Envision this: A bright sunny day, driving in a convertible car, top down, wind whipping through your hair, this song playing in the background and destination unknown.

Doesn't that sound good?

Pink Glove Dance Competition

Pink Glove Dance  is a great contest that is bringing more awareness to October/Breast Cancer awareness month. The creativity from all of these organizations & institutions is uplifting and motivating.

 I am biased over one group. It's the El Camino Hospital, Mountain View, California. The hospital's inspiration for this video, is my good friend, Heidi Garland. Heidi is one of the most courageous woman, I have known. Believe me, I have been in the company of many strong women.

So I ask all of you to please go to the Pink Glove Dance website and vote.

Last Call-VO & Water

I forgot about this picture.

It might seem to you like an arty image of the sun shining thru a window, in the late afternoon, bouncing off a beverage.

But no.

It's Seagram's VO & water, my mother's favorite drink. This was Tiki Don's way of paying homage to Bab's, the woman you gave me life.

This was our last drink together, in her home, before the new owners took possession of the house.
