What's in the sky..........

The sky has a strange, bluish tinge and the science geek came out in us, tonight.

Tonight's solar eclipse brought back memories of science class 101. But more fun was to see the neighborhood kids and their parents, standing in front of their homes, conducting the same photo class.

It's amazing how much fun you can have with a piece of paper with a hole.

Marie Curie-Happy Birthday!

Today's is Marie Curie's 144th birthday. One smart woman.

 

ADAP Funding-Seasons of Love-Rent

If we think that AIDS has been cured or gone, we are kidding ourselves. I have lost dear friends and possible mentors to this diease. My family has worked tirelessly to bring awareness and fund raising for this issue. AIDS has touched my life, forever.

Now it looks like that ADAP Program could be cut in the current Federal budget negotations as well as on the state level. These drugs have helped prolong life for hundreds of thousands of people. These people represent a wide demographic; straght, gay, men, women, children and infants. 

I BEG everyone, please call your Congress Representative and ask for this life & death funding to be saved.
